Young Lungs Clean is committed to working with local law enforcement departments by conducting tobacco retail compliance inspections as Service Providers for The Health Promotion Council and The Food and Drug Administration throughout the state of Pennsylvania to identify the retail outlets in our neighborhoods that are selling tobacco and vape products to persons under the age of 21, also known as Underage Purchasers.  

Young Lungs Clean offers Merchant Education sessions to all retailers to establish awareness of the Pennsylvania Youth Tobacco Sale laws surrounding the sale of tobacco and vape products to Underage Purchasers. We provide a training packet that is used to discuss what the laws are and the fines surrounding violations, as well as how to identify Underage Purchasers and how to read ID's. The training packet is left with the Retailers for training purposes to be used with current and future employees.
